These are all very important things to look at when you want to really find out what areas need improving for your business. Thankfully there are plenty of useful tools we can use in this day and age to help us with monitoring our traffic effortlessly with the data presented in ways that are easy to interpret.
Here at Vostra Media we give all of our clients full control of their data and allow them to track visitor behavior along with view other website statistics so they can have insights into customer behavior. Below are some of the key features you can make use of when using website analytics:
General Website Statistics
Your website bounce rate is a crucial statistic for your website as it shows the percentage of single-page visits (i.e. visits in which the person left your site from the entrance page without interacting with the page). The lower the bounce rate the better, it shows users are actually interacting with your website and spending some time with it.
This geographic of data shows your website visitor stats from various countries around the world, you can use the gauge in the bottom left hand corner to set the colours for the countries with most and least visits. As you can see above red is set to high so the country with the highest visits is shown in red (United Kingdom). Of course this si only beneficial if your client base is nationwide i.e. if you run an ecommerce website this would be a good stat to view on a weekly basis.
If you want to get real deep into website user data you can even see which browser, operating system and mobile device your users are using to access your website. This can be helpful if you want to tailor your website for mobile and responsive design.
Overall, we can help you get the most out of your data and all of the above would be included in a custom dashboard that you will have access to, this can help you understand your users better so you can improve business processes by using your user behavior.
